The Architect's Assistant

  • ZML is a really cool space, with 14 screens being projected on three walls. During seminar, groups of screens are filled with a variety of information, giving the impression of a very dynamic session where a lot of information is passing through at once.
  • The backchannel controls a couple screens and the Googlejockey controls a few others. The former often affects the latter, as the GJ can just click on links being sent to the backchannel and display what people have found.
  • Having an AI act as a Googlejockey would not be entirely out of the question. In addition, an AI would be able to hook directly into the screen controls and be able to pick free screens to display new information on, so that you get something different on a variety of screens and information doesn't flash by too quickly to comprehend.
  • If one used a Voice, not only could it auto-click links that were sent to chat, but it could auto-Google key tags that it pulls out of context and display I'm-feeling-lucky pages or images or videos, with minimal fuss.
  • The overall effect should feel a bit like the Architect's room from Matrix 3 (was actually 2 ;)... you know, that white room with a ton of TV screens that reflected what Neo was thinking/talking about at the moment.
